"Waratah
at Queenscliff is a delightful place to stay. It is very warm
and welcoming and its history is interesting.
Waratah is extremely cozy and comfortable and a beautiful
home to return to after you have gone out for a brisk walk.
The sitting room is just gorgeous and a beautiful spot to
sit and relax with a book and a glass of wine. Do yourself
a favour and make sure you stay at "Waratah at Queenscliff"
when you travel to Queenscliff. Our stay was wonderful and

were 9 women who worked together and looking for a weekend that
provided good accommodation, relaxation, within walking distance
to shops, restaurants and the beach. Waratah was just the place
that satisfied our needs. The house was very spacious, cosy
and decorated beautifully. Our group has weekends away regularly
and the one we had at Waratah has made our "top of the

that we would recommend you change or improve. Our group would
like to think about staying again sometime soon as we all would

would all like to express how wonderful our stay at The Waratah
was last weekend. Your beautiful homestead is just perfect
for a girls weekend away. Not only do we have luxurious rooms
with on-suites to choose from but your kitchen, family, dining
room area was so user friendly spacious and comfortable. The
view out to the decking barbeque and herb garden, was such
a delight. It really makes your stay that much more relaxing
when you have such a nice view. Not to mention that there
was nothing you could ever need in a kitchen that was not
supplied. The drawing room at the front of the house was also
a wonderful feature, great to go and hibernate away and have
a quiet read if you wish.
We had
a great time looking at the old photos of the homestead, who
would have believed a bit of history for us to take in as
well. Your bedding was very comfortable and the amenities
excellent. There was plenty of room for us to all enjoy our
stay in comfort and with beautiful decor. There were so many
nice little touches like the umbrellas at the entrance hall
that we could utilize, and the excellent intercom/cameras
at the front door and throughout the home. We have all come
home wishes we could have stayed longer. No doubt we will
again want to come and stay at your establishment and again
see the excellent sites and shopping in Queenscliff".
